OUR BEGINNING

Eureka got its start in 2005 with a small stage show called "Skin Deep" - a showcase of original solo pieces by women about the search for beauty and self-esteem. Each autobiographical piece was written and performed by a talented actress, and uniquely addressed the universal "ugly duckling" experience - wanting acceptance, craving self-worth... looking for truth and finding beauty. Though diverse, each piece was about every woman's inner girl, cowered in the corner, finding the guts to stand up and shake her fist at the world. Despite small audiences, the emotional response to the show was overwhelming. Women, men, everyone loved the message of the show, and the real, resonant stories told by the actresses.

OUR FUTURE

Since then, Eureka has been developing a number of projects, the latest of which is "Broke as a Joke" - a funny new web series about scraping by in today's economy. Please stay tuned!
